The Incredible, Edible Egg is packed with protein to help us have energy, focused minds and a healthy body. Today we will explore how different countries use eggs in their recipes. We make a classic French baked frittata, a delicious pajeon (Korean pancake) with Asian sauce, and decadent Italian pasta carbonara.

Back by popular demand, our very special guest chef Shaine Khanamuenwai will create a spring feast with fresh, delicious flavors of Thailand for our Chef’s table this month. Shaine likes to see what is fresh at the markets the day of the event so the menu will be the chef’s choice, and guaranteed to be outstanding! He will explain the history of the dishes he is making and explain how to build these amazing flavors. You’ll get to enjoy an entire dinner with appetizers and wines by the glass are available for purchase.

This annual Rite of Spring event brings out hundreds and hundreds of shoppers seeking out the newest spring plantings from area growers. The Lebanon Garden Club always sells out at this event, too. You'll see over 100 artisans, growers, farmers and other cool things for your home and garden. This event marks our FIRST ANNIVERSARY of our return to Historic Lebanon! We first opened in Lebanon across the street on October 1st, 2007 and then relocated to O'Fallon in the Summer of 2015. Today we put the spotlight on this colorful yellow fruit by making three recipes that take you through appetizers, dinner and dessert. We will start with a lemon artichoke warm dip served with pita chips. Then we will make a lemon asparagus chicken pasta, along with a lemon vinaigrette for salad and our decadent and irresistible lemon pound cake using our lemon olive oil instead of butter!

A DEMONSTRATION CLASS!
Scapes are the green tops of garlic which are harvested in the spring and saved while the garlic in the ground continues to mature. These delicious tops are so amazing in recipes for spring. Back by very popular demand, St. Louis expert growers, educators and harvesters Scarlett and Eric will share all about the early part of garlic’s life and how to use scapes. Alicia McAllister will whip some three recipes for you to sample during the presentation and give you generous tasting portions along with the recipes. Our menu consists of an appetizer, soup and pesto pasta!

If you've never eaten at Peel in Clayton, Edwardsville or O'Fallon, you're missing a great experience. Amazing wood-fired pizzas are their specialty since they first opened in Edwardsville. In 2014, they opened their biggest restaurant in O'Fallon with their own brewery that produces some amazing beers and ales. Now, their O'Fallon chef will be coming to FEZZIWIG'S to do their first ever "Chef's Table" with us! You'll learn from the master at this class/food experience.
We start with a "social course" of candied pork belly, burrata cream, smoked peach and sea salt, Fezziwig's bread crostini, harvest peach hatch pepper sauce, rosemary crush olive oil, lemon balsamic micro greens.
First course includes bacon grilled shrimp, Peel and Fezziwig's smoked white cheddar grits, maple bacon onion jam, charred scallion, Peel alterior motive beer, sauteed vegetables.
Second course includes brined bourbon barrel aged worcestershire chicken, sweet potato Fezziwig's jam mash, citrus vinaigrette grilled green beans.
Third course includes coco passion fruit curd, fresh hot Peel biscuit, vanilla bean buttercream, Fezziwig's honey, berry whip.

Our delightful friend, and native of Bangalore, India, Shoba Shaker, has graciously offered to lend her expertise of authentic Indian cooking to us for this evening. Tonight, Shoba will guide you though how to build classic Indian flavors with these incredible dishes: Garlic Naan with seasoned hummus, a southern Indian veggie dish called Chapati, and a Northern Indian dish Chicken Tikka Masala with Basmati rice. We will end with an Indian dessert with traditional Masala chai tea made with milk. Fezziwig’s has brought in these secret ingredient seasonings for purchase!

Want the perfect Father’s Day gift? How about a Grilled Paella class! Grill master Steve McAllister will guide you through making amazing Spanish paella on the Weber grill. We will discuss the heritage of paella, special ingredients and the secret techniques to getting the perfect paella. Everyone gets to do something to participate. While we are grilling, there will be a light tapas bar for you to snack on while the paella comes together! Then, we will sit down and eat it!

Europe and South America in one fantastic wine tasting event! We're featuring eight wines from Spain and Argentina at tonight's wine tasting along with light nibbles of tapas to snack on. Weather permitting, this wine tasting will take place in our garden courtyard so come casual and ready to enjoy.
If you would like to enjoy other wines by the glass (not from the tasting selection), they will be available for purchase.

All Hands-on Classes are limited to students age 12 and older unless otherwise noted. All Classes and Tastings that include Wine are restricted to age 21 and older. We card.
